Spectra Aquifer Expedition

The New Aquifer Expedition is configured for Military, Disaster Relief and Expeditionary use. The Expedition is powered by a rugged submersible 24V pump that delivers the feed water to the Reverse Osmosis system, eliminating problems with water delivery from remote sources. Spectra Watermakers has developed the simplest, quietest, most energy efficient, man-portable seawater RO system imaginable. Spectra's rugged Reverse Osmosis watermakers are engineered for the most austere condi-tions in the most re-mote areas where pure drinking water and mobility are vi-tal. The Expedition system makes up to 200 gallons of puri-fied fresh drinking water every day, in almost any climate, from nearly any water source!

The system is encased in a military grade, shock resistant, non-corrosive case and pow-ered by any 24V DC source. This system is so efficient that it can be run from a vehicle's electrical system, a solar panel, or battery bank.
Dependable under the most ex-treme conditions, the Spectra High-Pressure Intensifier will operate flawlessly throughout a wide range of temperatures and water conditions, without any adjustments or loss of product water output. With no electrical equip-ment inside the case, and constructed almost entirely of high density composites, it is corrosion resistant, whisper quiet, and extremely reliable. All this, while producing up to 8.5 Gallons of pure drinking wa-ter per hour on an incredible 4.5 Amps!

System Features

Every Expedition comes complete and ready to run. It includes a factory-mounted Spectra High Pressure Intensifier, a 21-inch membrane in a Spectra pressure vessel assembly and submersible diaphragm feed water pump capable of delivering water 10 feet up a cliff and 50 feet away! The system is enclosed in a corrosion proof, impact resistant case with a feed water pressure gauge, product water flow meter, and hand held salinity monitor all as standard features.
